Girls u12 Football..

Good start to league continues

Bride Rovers U12 girls have had a busy 2 weeks with 2 league games and a challenge.

Up 1st were St Nicks who came to Pynes confident on the back of 2 good wins. Bride Rovers girls soon let them know this was not going to be as easy as they thought. Both teams traded scores for what was a very evenly matched 1st half.

From the start of the 2nd half the Rovers girls took control of this game and scored some fantastic scores to build up a good lead and hold out for a great win. Bride Rovers 3-6  St Nicks  3-4

In our next game we came up against Inch B Again the girls played lovely passing and moving football which resulted in an easy win on the night. Bride Rovers 3-17  Inch 1-3

On Sunday our younger girls played Fermoy in a challenge. With the large number on our u12 panel and new players that have joined in the past few weeks this was a very important game for these girls.

The girls put in a great performance and with the help of 3 u10 players they really worked hard and made life difficult for the stronger Fermoy team.

A big thanks to the parents for keeping up with the busy schedule.
