Junior Camogie..

Bride Rovers Junior Camogie Championship County Semi Final was played on Friday the 14th of September, 2018 at 7.30 p.m. in Carrigaline.  It was a replay of the league county final against a very good Ballinora team who were successful at that time.  The roles were reversed on this occasion and victory fell to the East Cork side.  It was a game of high standards and good scoring as you would expect from two committed teams of girls.  The final score was Bride Rovers 5-10 Ballinora 3-08.  The winners of Ballinascarty & Millstreet await Bride Rovers in the County Final and we will have our really cut out to be successful.

Team: Katie Connor, Jen Cahill, Emily Larkin, Emma Barry, Evelyn Collins,Chloe O'Flynn, Trish O'Sullivan, Mary Hazelwood, Aine Keating, Aislinn O'Connor, Siobhan O'Sullivan, Sally Mc Carthy, Grace Kearney, Sarah Murphy, Rachel o' Flynn, Emma Roche, Fiona Barry, Judy Mc Carthy, Claire Hickey, Katie Quirke, Caoimhe O'Sullivan, Arianne O'Flynn, Chloe Aherns, Grace Culloty, Caoimhe Hazelwood.

We would like to congratulate Jennifer Barry for winning an All Ireland Intermediate Camogie Final medal with Cork where she had an outstanding game at centre back as had all the Cork girls.  You have done your family, your club, your county, your game and yourself proud.

Also well done to Niamh Barry, and Michelle Hartnett on attaining that elusive county medal.

U10 Football
The future looks bright. On Wednesday last the 12th of September, 2018 our u10s and u11s got together to play a very entertaining challenge game in front of a large gathering of proud parents. Both teams are looking forward to their respective competitive games in the coming weeks and this game came as a great run out in preparation for these. On the night there was fantastic football played by both teams with the ball moving at great pace and accuracy from end to end,If all of these girls continue playing in the years ahead the future looks bright for the club.
