'As You Were' at Annual General Meeting.
The Annual General meeting of Bride Rovers hurling and Football Club took place on Friday night December the 1st in Bartlemy Parish Hall. A fair sized attendance reviewed the 2017 season both on and off the playing fields. Outgoing Chairman Richie O Regan welcomed all present and mentioned apologies from several members who were unable to attend. The Secretary's report was presented by Runai Daniel Lane and was an extremely detailed account of all aspects of the Club activities for the past year. Treasurer Dan Quill outlined the huge expense involved in running the Club especially as we are involved in so much ongoing Development work. The Chairman thanked all the players, members, supporters and sponsors who had helped the Club. He asked for the help and cooperation of everyone involved with Bride Rovers as launch our massive Development and Fundraising campaign shortly.

WEEKLY CLUB LOTTO DRAW.
The Jackpot on Tuesday November the 29th was €17,000. The four numbers drawn were 3, 7, 17 and 26 - and there was No winner. €30 each to Pat Cullotty, Barnahash, S. McSweeney c/o LAYA, Connie Barry, Rathcormac, Noel Flood c/o SPAR and Paul O'Dowd, Rathcormac . The Jackpot for Tuesday December the 5th was €17,200.

Fencing in pitch.
A huge transformation has taken place in Pairc na Bride in recent weeks with new fencing surrounding the plating field having been erected. It looks superb and is another phase of the ongoing work to enhance and upgrade our facilities.
Juvenile Club AGM.
The AGM of the Juvenile Club is on this Friday night in the Rathcormac Inn at 8.30 pm and are a marvellous year on the playing fields of Cork for the Club hopefully their will be a giood attendance at the AGM,
Walter Bermingham RIP.
Sympathy is offered to the sons and extended family of the late Walter Bermingham of Grange. In his late 90's Walter was a proud member of the Grange GAA Club all his life. He was also a great historian and storyteller and a real character in the Grange area.
St. Colmans Award
The Club are being presented with an award by St Colmans College on tonight Thursday December the 7th in recognition of the input of Bride Rovers Players to St Colmans team.
Minor Hurling League Final.
The Final of the County Minor Hurling League v Watergrasshill is provisionally fixed for this coming Saturday December 9th. Glenville Minor footballers were to play a MFL semi final last night (Wed) - if they won they are playing the final of that competition this weekend. If they lost the MHL Final is scheduled to go ahead.

Congrats to Mary Arnold and Esther O Keeffe who both won €150 in the Cork GAA Members December draw on Friday night last.

Co. Convention
The annual Convention of the Cork GAA Board takes place in Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday next Dec 10th. It will mark the end of a busy three year term for Gerard Lane as County Board Chairman. Gerard will continue to serve Cork GAA as a Munster Council delegate. The Draw for the 2018 County Senior Hurling Championship will also be made.
