U10 hurling league match V Lee Gaels.
It was perfect conditions for a hurling match away to Lee Gaels of Dripsey on Saturday May 20th.  Our  boys were much too strong for the Mid Cork side showing great individual and collective play with short passing , hand passing and team play. After a great start Bride Rovers were  leading by 11 5 to nil at half time. In the spirit of fair play both sets of  mentors  agreed the game was over so we mixed both teams and started afresh for a practice game with all the kids enjoying themselves and playing in a more evenly matched competitive contest. Well done and well played to all the boys involved . The Bride Rovers  team panel was Conor, Jack H, Thomas , Cormac , Gearoid , Shane, Cillian, David , Tomas , Jack C., A  big thank you to Ronan and Adam for stepping in as referees for the matches. CORK V TIPP.

Well there mightn’t have been  dust in the square  as old rivals Cork and Tipperary met in Thurles on Sunday in the Munster Championship but it was some game. Tipp were  raging hot favourites but Cork had a swagger to behold in  Semple Stadium last Sunday and the pride in that 'Blood and Bandage' jersey was plain to be seen. Well done Rebels and now it's another titanic clash with neighbours Waterford back in Thurles on June 18th.
