Cork Minors are Munster Champions..
Congrats Grace Culloty & Sarah Murphy
The Cork Minor team retained their Munster title with a 6-11 to 1-10 over a highly fancied Kerry team at Killarney on the Bank Holiday Monday. Cork went into this game as underdogs as Kerry had defeated this team when U16. Cork got off to a fantastic start with Saoirse Noonan grabbing a hat trick of goals. Cork led at half time 4-04 to 1-05 and Kerry never really recovered from the goal blitz in the first half. Cork eventually ran our winners on a scoreline of 6-11 to 1-10. Congrats to our own Cork Minors Grace Culloty and Sarah Murphy on a fantastic win. Sarah lined out in goal, this was Sarah's second Munster medal in a fortnight as she won with the Cork u16 team also. Grace who scored (0-2) was also part of the Cork Minor All Ireland winning team last year. Cork now go in search of a historic three in a row at this level and we wish John Cleary & all the Cork management team the very best of luck.
Cork Intermediate Camogie Win
Congratulations to Jen Barry who played with the Cork Intermediate camogie team that won the Littlewoods Ireland Division 2 camogie title beating Derry in Kinnegad on a scoreline of Cork 2-16 Derry 1-05. Well done to Mossie O'Sullivan who was a selector with this team.
On Saturday afternoon, the u14 ladies camogie team played at home to St. Fanahans. Bride Rovers played very well and worked hard for every ball. Their passing was good and they defended as best they could. However, St. Fanahans were the stronger team and won by a good margin. Well done to the home side who are improving with every game and certainly never lack spirit when competing against any opposition.

U12 Football
On Friday April 28th we played Carrigtowhill away. Our girls started strong and played some great football. However, Carrigtowhill kept the pressure on and our backs had their work cut out. Our forwards had a lot of unnecessary wides and the half time score was held 1-6 to 2-1. The second half brought our the best in our girls, the passing and working together as a team proved too much for Carrigtowhill and we pulled away to win 5-12 to 2-4 .
Panel : Ellen Diggin, Rachel Walsh, Nikita Parle (0-1), Oonagh Nagle, Ava Barry , Aoife Mc Carthy,Abbie Hoare (0-2) ,Mai Cosgrove, Lily Murray (1-2), Sarah Buckey, Ruby Broderick (0-3), Abbie O Connell (1-0), Mollie O Connell (3-2), Ella Barry (0-1),Sarah Birmingham (0-1): +Aoibhe Kiely, Emma Collins, Franesca Meaney, Aisling Hart, Eimear Hart, Cliona Murphy..
