Senior League Defeat...
We opened our 2017 RED FM County Senior Hurling League campaign on Sunday last. County finalists Erins Own were the visitors and proved too strong for our side. We were 0 11 to 0 5 in arrears at half time. Despite being reduced to 14 men in the second half Erins won well by 1 17 to 0 11. It was a disappointing start and with our opening championship tie v Glen Rovers only 7 weeks away a lot of hurling will be done yet.
