St. Colmans in Harty Final..
The Hurlers of St Colmans College are through to the hart Cup Final for the first time since 2003. In a low scoring hard fought semi final at mallow last Saturday Colmans came out on top by a margin of four points, 1 8 to 0 7. They will face red-hot favourites Templemore of Tipperary in the final in two weeks time. Colmans have won the Harty on nine occasions and lost three other finals. The final of 2003 saw St Colmans win a memorable three-in-a row but they have not been in the Final since. Templemore include three of last years Tipperary All Ireland Minor winning team on their side. They were beaten in last year's Harty Final by Limerick's Ardscoil Ris and previously won the Harty in 1978. There will be a mighty buzz around the College and in all the GAA clubs around the town as we all look forward to the Final.
