U12 Ladies Football...

On Sat evening the u12 girls played Rosscarbery in Innishannon in the first game  of the county championship.
From the start our girls dominated the game. And everyone worked really hard making it a 5-5 to 1-4 win.
We are now through to the semi final of the county championship Fri 9th Sept venue tbc.
Well done girls
Coffee Morning - On sun we held our coffee morning and cake sale.
It was a great success and very well supported.

Also thanks to everyone who came and supported us on the morning.
It was greatly appreciated

Best of Luck Jen

What a weekend in the life of our camogie player Jen Barry. This weekend all roads lead to Croke Park for the Senior & Intermediate All-Ireland Finals.
Jen Barry will be lining out with the Cork Intermediate Camogie team v Kilkenny at 2pm (Live on RTE) and then will be on the panel with the Cork Senior team at 4pm also against Kilkenny.

At 22 years of age, Jen has certainly made her mark on the inter-county scene in both Ladies Football & Camogie. Having already enjoyed success with the Cork Footballers she turned her attention to the camogie team this year. Good performances both with club & college propelled her onto the county setup. Having played numerous league & munster championship games, Jen is now a vital member to the Cork camogie team.

Having completed her Arts Degree in UCC in Gaeilge & Economics, she has just started a Primary Teaching degree in Mary I. Jen was part oif the Bride Rovers Camogie team that won Junior B & C County titles in recent years.
We wish Jen all the best on Sunday & hope she will have 2 All-Ireland medals in the bag.

We all wish Cork Intermediate & Bride Rovers selector Mossie O'Sullivan all the best on Sunday too.
There is a large support traveling from the club & we hope you all have a great day. The U12 camogie team and parents are traveling up too as guests of the Camogie Association.

Best Wishes to Senior Hurlers
Bride Rovers Ladies Football & Camogie Club wish all the best to our Senior Hurlers as they take on Douglas Saturday evening in the Cork County Senior Hurling Championship Quarter-Final in Pairc Ui Rinn at 6.15pm. Please come out and support the lads.
