Cork Minor Ladies Football All Irl Semi Final..
Best of luck to our two dedicated Cork Minors Grace Culloty and Laura Quirke in their All Ireland Minor A Championship Semi Final against Galway on Saturday the 16th of July, 2016 at 3.15 p.m. in Nenagh. Best of luck girls. Please support.

Defeat for Camogie team
Monday night our junior camogie team travelled to Glenville to take on Na Piarsaigh in the first game of the SE Systems sponsored Cork County Junior A Camogie Championship.
Na Piarsaigh started the brighter and playing with a strong wind had the first 3 points on the scoreboard before Jen Barry pointed for the Rovers. Na Piarsaigh scored next with a well taken goal and added 3 more points to lead at half-time on a scoreline of 1-06 to 0-01.
The Rovers started the second half well and were competing and working hard all over the field but were not getting the rewards on the scoreboard. Chloe O’Flynn struck a point for the Rovers following good play by Sinead Walsh. However Na Piarsaigh finished the game stronger eventually winning by 2-13 to 0-05.
Bride Rovers next game in this competition is against Newtownshandrum in the coming weeks.

Junior Football Championship
Our junior football team play Fermoy tonight (Thursday) in the semi-final of the East Cork Junior B Championship at 7.30pm in Fermoy.
Summer Camp
Any girls aged from 5 to 13 wishing to take parts in the Bride Rovers Ladies Football & Camogie Club Summer Camp which takes place from the 25th to 29th July (10am to 1pm), please contact Claire O Flynn (087-2169738).
The cost of the camp is €55 for the first child, €45 for the second and €40 for the third. Price includes a Jersey, Training Top & Sports Bag. Book soon as places filling fast.
U8 Camogie
U8 Camogie training will commence on Saturday morning at 11am in the Main Pitch. Anyone interested please come along or contact Liam Barry 087-6893829 for further information.
