6k Run A Great Success..

On Sunday last Bride Rovers Ladies Football club hosted their 6K Run & Walk in Bartlemy. The afternoon started off brightly but a heavy downpour 15 minutes into the event did not help. There was a great turn out of Runners & Walkers. The course is a picturesque course around the village of Bartlemy. There was over 200 competitors took part in the event.
The winner of the Mens race was Chris Grayson (Kerry Crusaders AC) in a time of 21.23, followed home by Shane Harrington (East Cork AC) & Colm O Connor (GCH) in third.
The Ladies event was won by Dolores Duffy (Watergrasshill AC) in a time of 25.01, followed by Eileen Leahy (Midleton AC) & Gwen Conroy (Watergrasshill AC) in third.
The Boys U16 was won by David Kilmartin (Mallow AC) while the U16 Girls was won by Caoimhe Hayes (St. Catherines AC).
