U14 Camogie
The under 14s played two games in the league in recent weeks both at home venue. The first, against Youghal, on Friday evening the 27th May. Given that Bride Rovers were low on numbers and playing quite a few under twelves, the visitors sportingly played an under-strength side. This gave the home team a much needed competitive game and they took on the challenge with their usual determination and spirit. The girls fought hard for every ball and it was a closely fought game but ultimately Youghal won by a five point margin. The following week, Bride Rovers played Killeagh on Wednesda June 1st. The teams lined out fourteen aside but Killeagh were by far the stronger team and the home side were really chasing the game for the duration and Killeagh won by a decisive margin.
