When/Where did you first play hurling? | Probably in the garden with my father. And then my first game was under 6’s in the pitch. I think I was 4. |
Best Advice Given | Never give up, keep going until the very end… The fitter you are the better you are. |
What skill is the most important? | First touch in hurling, Running with the ball at pace in football. |
Anything you'd change about the game? | 2 points for a side line cut over the bar. |
Best memory as a player? | Winning the Junior B East Cork final, senior game v Castlelyons, scoring a goal against Carrigtwohill in 2013 and the whole season in 2008 where I made my debut in senior, reaching to the final in my first year starting was a dream come true. |
Best GAA memory outside of playing? | 2003 Intermediate hurling final. What a game. That David Burke goal in injury time against Cloyne 2012.(It’s nearly the only thing I remember from that game) |
Best Hurler you have ever seen | Sean Cavanagh in football, Iarla Tannian in hurling. Two power houses with great stamina in the game. |

If there was a transfer market, who would you buy for Bride Rovers? | Joe Canning |
Toughest opponent? | Padraig Murphy, his side step got me every time in training matches. |

Best invention ever | External Harddrives (So many films and TV shows) |
In 10 years time I hope to be | Lighter (or at least the same weight) and happy… Hopefully still able to play a bit too. |
