There was a great comeback for our Junior B hurlers, who drew with Youghal tonight in Ballynoe. Two late Tomas Macak and Ryan O'Callaghan goals, having been 10 points adrift with 10 minutes to go, saw both teams finish level on 2.17 apiece. Well done to all involved.
Tomorrow sees the first game ever for the 'holy, holy terrors' - this is the first time our club will field a fourth hurling championship team. They face Dungourney at 2.30pm in Dungourney. Featuring a full back line (selected on form last January) of recently unceremoniously-dropped Junior B hurlers Jack Kearney and Brian Colins and 'player-manager'/'player-because-he-is-manager' Mike Liddane, it promises to be a game not to be missed.
