In 1975, which was a year of major highs and lows for Bride Rovers, our Junior B hurlers clinched the clubs second East Cork JBHC title.
While our first team had won the title in 1966 ahead of Junior A successes later that decade, the 1975 team was the club's second team and the circumstances behind many of the players that year was very interesting.
A 50th anniversary celebration for that 1975 Junior B team will take place tomorrow night (Thursday 14th August) at 8pm in The Rathcormac Inn.
