Our U10 hurlers take part in a blitz against in Páirc na Bríde this Saturday morning. With opposition from U10 teams from Waterford, Tipperary, Limerick and Cork, this will be a great way to demonstrate and improve on the skills they are continuing to develop.
Well done to their mentor Raymond Hegarty for organising this event. With three matches, and a pre-match parade and the playing of the national anthem from 11am, this promises to be a great day for the young hurlers.
This blitz is based on the Go-Games model, which help all players to develop without undue pressure and competition. For more detail on the rational of Go Games and the Principles which underpin them, see Go Games
We wish the players the best as they welcome and play against teams from across the county bounds, and hopefully the weather remains good for the event (i.e. more than one Ray). 🍊🏳
