Bride Rovers' Irene Hogan continues to be to the fore in calls for increased funding for Women in Sport. As well as co-managing Bride Rovers senior ladies football team, Irene is an accomplished researcher in MTU Cork. She established the Ladies Gaelic for Mothers and Others in our club and this continues to provide a sporting and social outlet for women in the parish.
