"Rovers Re-turn" - Young club members Caoimhe Collins, Daniel Carey and Mollaí Collins take a break from training to help launch the initiative.

Bride Rovers Ladies Football and Camogie Club yesterday launched their new "Rovers Re-turn" fundraiser.

Parents, players and supporters are invited to gather used plastic bottles and cans at home, and then bring them along to the pitch when going training, watching a game, or when just passing by.

Eight distinctive orange "Re-turn" bins will be located at club grounds and around the community. The ladies club, spearheaded by the senior ladies football team, will bring these to SPAR Rathcormac. Thank you to Ray Burns and his staff for facilitating thos scheme. All funds raised will go towards the day-to-day running of the club and its teams ranging from Under-6 to adult level.

Please get involved, gather your waste plastic bottles and drink cans to support the club.

Please contact Betty Cahill 086 154 0902 or Irene Hogan 087 654 8928
