JUVENILE REPORT.

UNDER 12 FOOTBALL.

Bride Rovers started off their U12 'A' football league with an away match against Whitechurch played in windy conditions.
At half time Bride Rovers trailed by two points having played against the wind, Whitechurch 1-05, Bride Rovers 1-03.
In the second half both defences gained an upper hand and scores became hard to come by, and despite the renowned battling qualities of the Rovers, the clock beat them, time ran out and we lost by a single point after a great display. Final score, Whitechurch 2-07,Bride Rovers 2-06

UNDER 16 FOOTBALL

We played 2 games in the last week. The first game was played last Tuesday against Castlelyons under lights in Castlelyons.  The team played very good football throughout the game. We led from start to finish and won very easily.
For the second game we travelled to Cloyne to play St Colmans on Saturday . Unfortunately we had only 13 boys on the day. The opposition played with 15 in the first half and led 4-6 to 1-5. We conceded the game & the league points and played a 13 aside game in the second half where we won comfortably.
We continue to train on Thurs @7 & Sat @ 4. It's all hurling for the next month. Match dates,  times and venues will be published as soon as possible.
